Dubbing into Indian languages

Dub one video into ten Indian languages without re-recording

India watches in its own languages, and the same video reaches a new audience each time it speaks one more. AI Dubbing takes a finished video, transcribes it, translates it, re-voices it in the target language with the timing rebuilt to fit the cut, keeps the background music, and regenerates the captions in the right script. Twenty-seven languages in all, ten of them Indian.

Who it is for: For YouTube creators, course makers, brands and agencies whose video is in English or Hindi and whose audience is also in Tamil, Telugu, Bengali, Marathi, Punjabi, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam and Urdu.

Straight answer: Dubbing is translation, and translation has judgement in it. Names, jokes, idioms and numbers are the lines to check in the translated script before the dub renders. Speak any language, which also re-animates the speaker's lips to match, is in early testing.

How it works

  1. 1

    Upload the finished video

Any MP4: a YouTube episode, a lesson, a product demo, an ad. The original voice is transcribed and the music separated so it can be kept.

  2. 2

    Choose the language

One of the ten Indian languages, or any of the 27 supported, and repeat for each language you need. Optionally keep the original speaker's voice character in the dub.

  3. 3

    Check the translated script

The translation is shown as editable text per scene. Fix a name, a term or a number before anything is voiced.

  4. 4

    Render and publish

Each language renders as its own video with captions in the correct script, ready to upload as a video of its own.

Questions, answered

Which Indian languages are supported?

Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Bengali, Marathi, Punjabi, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam and Urdu, within 27 languages in total.

Does the background music survive?

Yes. The voice is separated from the music, so the dub keeps the original bed and only the speech changes.

Can the dubbed voice sound like the original speaker?

Optionally, yes. The dub can carry the original speaker's voice character, with their consent, instead of a stock voice.

Will the lips match?

Standard dubbing keeps the picture as it is. Speak any language, which re-animates the speaker's lips to match the new audio, is in early testing.

What about the captions?

Captions are regenerated in the target language and drawn in the correct script, Devanagari, Tamil, Bengali and the rest, so they are never garbled.
