Is WhatsApp automation allowed by WhatsApp?
Yes, when it runs on the official WhatsApp Business Platform, which is what Chitrio uses. The first message to a lead uses a WhatsApp-approved template, only people who wrote first or agreed to hear from you are messaged, and anyone can reply STOP.
Can I check AI replies before they go out?
Yes. By default every AI reply waits in your inbox as a draft that you can send, edit or discard. Questions about money or complaints are always passed to a person.
Do I need the WhatsApp Business app?
No. Chitrio works with a number on the WhatsApp Business Platform, which is separate from the phone app. The setup walks you through connecting your business number.
Which languages does it reply in?
English, Hindi and Hinglish. You can also describe your follow-up plan in any of the three, typed or by voice.
How much does it cost?
WhatsApp automation is an add-on pack that works with any Chitrio plan and includes a monthly allowance of AI replies. The price is shown in the app before you switch it on. WhatsApp bills its own message charges to your business account.
